Privacy Policy

Effective July 20, 2026 · Last updated July 20, 2026

This policy explains what information Benzibot, LLC ("Benzibot," "we," "us") collects when you visit benzibot.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We have tried to write it in plain English rather than legalese.

1Scope of this policy

This policy covers the benzibot.com website only.

It does not cover the Benzibot service itself. If you are a client, the handling of data flowing through your AI assistant is governed by your services agreement with us and by our data processing terms, not by this website policy. It also does not cover the privacy practices of Meta Platforms, Google, or any other third party whose products you use.

This policy applies to visitors to our website. It does not describe how our clients' own law firms handle information they receive from their clients.

2Information we collect

Information you give us directly

We only receive what you choose to send us. That generally means:

  • When you book a demo. Your name, email address, and any other details you enter into the scheduling form, such as your firm name, phone number, or a note about your practice.
  • When you email us. Your email address and whatever you include in your message.

Information collected automatically

Our website currently does not run analytics or advertising software. However, our hosting provider automatically maintains standard server logs, and third-party services embedded on or linked from the site may automatically receive standard technical information, including:

  • Your IP address
  • Your browser type and operating system
  • The pages you request and the date and time of the request
  • The referring page, if any

This information is generated by the ordinary operation of the internet and is typically used for delivering the site, security, and aggregate traffic measurement.

We do not ask for, and we ask that you do not send us, confidential or privileged information. Do not include client names, case facts, or any information subject to attorney-client privilege in a demo request, a contact form, or an email to us. Nothing you send us through this website is confidential or privileged. Email and ordinary website forms are not secure methods for transmitting confidential information.

3How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Schedule, prepare for, and follow up on a demo you requested
  • Respond to your questions and provide customer support
  • Send you information about our services that you asked for
  • Operate, secure, maintain, and improve our website
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service

If you become a client, we will also use your information to deliver and administer the service under your services agreement.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising purposes.

4How we share information

We share personal information only in these situations:

  • Service providers. Companies that perform functions on our behalf, such as website hosting, email, and appointment scheduling. They may access information only as needed to perform those functions for us.
  • Legal requirements. When we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Benzibot, our clients, or others.
  • Business transfers. If Benzibot is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will give notice before your information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.
  • With your direction. When you ask us to share it.

5Third-party services

Our website relies on the following third parties. Each has its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to read them.

  • Website hosting: Namecheap. Serves the website and maintains standard server logs.
  • Appointment scheduling: Google Calendar. Our "Book a Demo" links take you to a scheduling page operated by this provider. Information you enter there is collected by them and shared with us.
  • Fonts: Google Fonts. Our pages load typefaces from Google's servers, which means your browser sends a request to Google that includes your IP address. We do not use Google Analytics or Google advertising products on this site.
  • Email: Google Workspace. Email you send to our support address is stored and processed by Google on our behalf.

Our website may link to sites we do not control, including Meta's platforms. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

6AI and automated processing

The website itself does not use automated decision-making to make legal or similarly significant decisions about visitors.

If you become a client, information processed through the Benzibot service may be handled by artificial intelligence and automation providers acting on our behalf. The applicable services agreement and data processing terms will describe that processing in greater detail.

7Cookies and tracking

This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. We do not use tracking pixels, and we do not participate in cross-site behavioral advertising.

Third-party services embedded in or linked from the site, such as our scheduling provider, may set their own cookies when you interact with them. Those cookies are governed by the third party's policy.

Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no industry-standard response to that signal. Because we do not track visitors across third-party websites for advertising, our practices do not change based on the signal.

Note for launch: if you later add analytics, advertising pixels, chat widgets, or any tracking tool to this website, this section and Section 5 must be updated to say so, and you may need a cookie consent banner. Have counsel review at that point.

8How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we reasonably need it for the purposes described in this policy, including to respond to your inquiry, to maintain business records, and to comply with our legal obligations. When we no longer need it, we delete it or de-identify it.

If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

9Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections to our website and access controls on our systems.

We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. You send us information at your own risk, which is one more reason not to send us anything confidential or privileged.

10Your choices and rights

You may:

  • Ask what we hold. Request a copy of the personal information we have about you.
  • Correct it. Ask us to fix information that is inaccurate.
  • Delete it. Ask us to delete your information, subject to our legal obligations.
  • Unsubscribe. Opt out of marketing email at any time using the unsubscribe link in the message or by emailing us. We will still send you messages necessary to administer an active account.

To make a request, email support@benzibot.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

11California residents

California law gives residents certain rights regarding personal information, including the right to know what is collected, to request deletion, to correct inaccuracies, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring an opt-out.

The categories of personal information we collect are described in Section 2, the purposes in Section 3, and the recipients in Section 4. California residents may exercise their rights by emailing support@benzibot.com. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.

12Children's privacy

This website is a business-to-business website intended for law firms and the professionals who run them. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the website after a change takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
